LIVESTREAMS
Technical Director & In Person Livestreaming
For these production examples, I was either the Technical Director for other camera operators or, some cases, I also ran camera. For productions with other camera operators, I will direct the camera operators, sometimes monitor a static camera depending on budget & run the switcher. For solo single or 2 camera productions, I generally actively operate one camera (manually or remotely if it’s a PTZ), set up a second static camera, and run the switcher.
Trans March, 2022. 4 cameras, 2 camera operators. I directed, monitored the static cameras, and ran the switcher for a recording.
TDOV, 2022 livestream. 2 cameras, I ran cameras and switcher for the livestream solo.
Live & Queer, 2023 livestream. 2 cameras, I ran cameras and switcher for the livestream solo.
Weaving Spirits Festival livestream, 2022. 2 cameras, 1 remote guest, 1 camera operator. I directed camera operator and remote guest, and ran the switcher for the livestream.
Remote Livestreams
These examples are totally remote livestreams with everyone in different locations. For these samples, I was Technical Director for on camera participants and off camera support staff like chat moderators. I guided folks through setting up the gear and software they had to get the most out of it we could. During the stream, I cued talent, ran the switcher & coordinated with chat moderators if there were any issues.
